Household Hazardous Waste Round-up Events Many products in the home and yard can damage our environment. Dispose of them safely in the Valley’s annual Household Hazardous Waste Round-Up days.

Transfer Station Solid waste from Carleton County is received at the Southern Valley Transfer Station where it is re-loaded into larger trailers for shipment to landfills.

Waste Disposal There are no landfills in the Valley Region. Solid waste is transported from a transfer station or transported directly to the landfills.

Transfer Station Hours of Operation

Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 (noon)
Sundays and Holidays Closed

The Transfer Station is closed on the following holidays:

3. Canada Day
4. New Brunswick day
5. Labour day
6. Thanksgiving day
7. Remembrance day
8. Christmas day
